1 quick question...

Hello everyone... I got a question...

If you click the Actv tag in HMT and scroll all the way down to find the are called ''changed color'' then below that is

''color lower bound r
color lower bound b
color lower bound g

color upper bound r
color upper bound b
color upper bound g''

What does that do exactly???

I used it and i didn't see any difference so i guess ill mess with it some more, and get more of a bold color that i can see. Thank you for the reply (:

make the number changes drastic. example..

r - 0.334343
g- 0.63763
b - 0.324224

and say you want a blue biped then change to..

r - 0.334343
g- 0.63763
b - 1.324224

if your trying to do this to the MC i dont think its going to work. thats done in the [soso] tag. in the soso tag if you go down there should be some options for like

none
a
b
c
d

something like that (cant look right now cause im meta extracting) but try messing with thoes. if you make it none then you will have no shader and only see your skin itself. new redux is running "b" option for its SP maps which made it all chrome looking with the right editing (<-someone is going to steal that idea :wink: ).

this is all typed assuming you have the 60 plugs and some backups cause editing shaders can be confusing.... opps! extraction is done! figure out the rest yourself like i did. patience is the key with a little trial and error.

I set it to 'none' and made MC orange, with a new bitmap slot. 8)

Ahh just got home from school like 30 minutes ago, thanks for the reply s again.
i want to make the campaign harder so thats why im asking.

a question for anyone (probably pepsi) how do you get elites with swords on maps? Like in pepsi's demo video for the new redux. Is it PMI, i read some where that you can change the weapon for any AI just by selecting something in HMT under the actr tag, not sure what tho,

sigh... you making me give away all my little tricks that are old skool. to do this you simply need to open a map that has thoes elites in it. the name of them will end in "sword". just simply swap the meta from the sword elite to say like a commander elite. when you do a complete swap like this everything is transfered including animations, behavior.. well everything. you have to do this in the actor tag and the one below it. im to lazy right now to check the name of it.

changing the starting weapon via swapping dependacys does nothing ive ever seen.
