Hi, I would like to PMI a turret into hangemhigh.
Ive tried without success, using many different tutorials.
the one that i found most helpful was
(tut) How to PMi a wraith, C-dropship, peli
I have also asked some friends to help me out, and they are also having the same problems.
Any links to tutorials directly related to this will be most helpful.
thanks in advance,

So, you follow the PMI tutorial normally like the one your linked in your post, but instead of doing the vehicles in the tutorial, just do the same but for the "c gun turret".

Don't act intelligible if you don't know what your talking about, Untalkative Bunny.
Hang Em' high already has a c_gunturret in it. You just have to change into a scen tag, and then import the tag into scenario with sparkedit.

Well i never checked.... Considering how the map didn't support vehicles...i thought the turret wasnt in it. And just because i was being nice and supportive (even though i was wrong, i'm sorry) doesn't mean i'm acting intelligible.

Don't be such a bitch if you don't have a reason to.
He didn't realise that there was already a tag for it in there, thats no reason to tell him he has no clue what he's talking about, he told him what he thought that he needed to do. You could've said "No, there's already a turret tag in the map file, you just need to place it in with sparkedit", but instead had to have an attitude saying it. There's no reason for it.

There's no reason for you to "flame" me, either.
Your constantly whining about something that didn't even have anything to do with you. But do you see me getting on your case?
No.
So back off.
and Untalkative bunny, I know I was a bit blunt, but it's just going to make it worse for him if you give him false information.

I had followed that tutorial to the letter, then I tried adapting it to what I needed, and that didn't work, thats why I came here.
How do I change it to a scen tag and import it?
Treat me like I have no experience in HMT or Sparkedit, doing it this way, we will make sure that I understand what is needed to be done.
... and guys, try and get along, we are here to share information and learn from each other. I thought thats what these forums were all about. Lets not fight. If someone is wrong, let them know politely, and let them know why they are wrong.

I did the same thing you did, I made my message very clear in a rough and direct way, Take it how you want to. And just because it wasn't directed towards me doesn't change the fact that I'm going to say something about. I wasn't flaming you, I told you that you didn't need to say it in such a direct way, you could've said it in a lot of a nicer way, but you chose to write it as you did, for whatever reason you have. And no I don't see you getting on my case, but at the same time I also don't see me yelling at kids for giving their thoughts on something.
^{Imagine that said in a calm voice, thats how I thought it}^
[On Topic]
Go into HMT, open Hang Em High.map
Go under vehicles, click on C Gun Turret/c gun turret mp
Up at the top there are three drop boxes, click the first one and type in "scen" and hit enter, click save and close the map.
Open it in sparkedit, and click Tools>Import Tag into Scenario.
Click the drop-down box and select scenery.
Find C Gun turret/.... and click ok.
Now, click edit, set the mode to scenery, click a piece of scenery already on the map (An arrow or flag base) and find "duplicate" Click the duplicate button.
In the drop-down box, switch it to a turret, put it where you want, duplicate, etc. etc. etc.
Save your changes, and open HMT. Find the Gun Turret (it'll be under scenery now, not vehicles)
Change the scen to a "vehi" on top.
Open Halo and have fun.

It dousn't normally, but when you make it, it supports vehicles.
I once swapped out the flagstand with a banshee and it worked OK
