Well its recently been done on Death Island too.

Hmm...
I thought you'd just have to rebuild with the [rain] tag of your choice.

Hey, you could allways do a SP->MP if you REALLY want snow ;)

I'm sure he'd like something other than hex.

Everyone hates the sound of hex, it's too complicated (or at least for me it is)

ok snow is made in clusters which are in the bsp.

you need to edit the sbsp. im not sure but you may need to pmi the snow effect from b40, once you have done that you can probably add snow to the map by swapping an effect. im doing this all through memory. look at how b40 is set up...like the sky tags and sbsp. im not sure how to make snow work in pc, because i never felt the need to but if what im thinking is correct..it should be able to be activated in the sbsp.

and @ slip...hex is simple...but i must say i hate hex editing for pc, but in ce it rocks :D

go to the Structure BSP tag (will take a bit to load, be patient)

go to the very bottom and look for 'rain-'

click the drop down menu and select the snow (the only swap in there)

swap dependency

Done.

p.s. this works for the rain and bugs found on the c10.map too.

yep, that's all you need to do, the only time you need CE is if you want to keep it from raining/snowing inside, in which case you need to create seperate clusters, and apply different properties to them.
