Another Q.

how would i go about making a ghost fly like a shee/pelican.
I'm in HMT, i have BYOM v2, and i want to make a ghost fly like a pelican or a shee. I put it on pelican with phenoms 64 plugin pack, and it just hovers up into the air and moves slowly. I put it on Covie fight/Shee and it just hovers in the air and doesn't move.

1. Go into Halo Hacker Tools v.5. (if you don't have it, download it)
2. Select your map, then scroll to the vehicle tag.
3. Select the ghost, and swap every dependency to that of the banshee's. Although, except the mod2, antr, and phys.
4. Close your map, then open up Halo Map Tools 3.5. (with phenom's plugins)
5. Select your map, then scroll to the Ghost's [vehi] tag.
6. Then change all the settings from the Ghost to that of a banshee.
This works, because I was faced with this problem in my early modding days.

or change the ghost to the banshee type and increase it's look-a-bility. The maximum camera angle height stuff.
Your here from 06, are you just starting to mod?

Well, Homies, i can't seem to get the BYOM to open up in HHT. I've tryed sparkify and not sparkify and it just doesn't want to work.
And no, Hamster i've been modding isnce o6, i just don't release my stuff

. People wouldn't like the things me and my friends do anyways.
Intense battles of Shee that has a 2ndary weapon of a stickynade vs. flying rockethog that the driver can control the turret.
You haven't played halo until you've done that. I've gone 5 mins of a game just going at it with my friend in a shee.

And that's the best stuff, doing fun mods with friends.
I haven't modded in months, and I dont think I ever will again, I start stuff but never finish it, I make a few models, but I can't ever finish any mods I start.

who can't finish them lol, we keep upgrading and smoothing out oour mod nearly everyday.
anyways, back on topic. HHT won't open BYOM if it has the sparkify patch on it, and it won't open it if it doesn't have it either.

Well, that's a shame. HHT is one of the most innovative tools for Halo, ever.
Try Eschaton 0.6.1. It's wonderful.

i know, i use HHT all the time. i prefer it over HMT
do you think eschaton will open it up?

Well.
I don't know, because I've never tried any of the BYOMs.
Just try it though, it has a BSP viewer (almost exactly like sparkedit), a built in Hex editor, a Tag/meta editor, and a dependency swapper.
I use it all the time with my mods =]

hht sucks...im sorry but i can not even work with it...ill take my way of modding with hmt (yeah i can swap too [no not meta...dependency swap])

dude. eschaton ftw. i <3 this program lol.
alongside hmt it's godly.
Now for another Question.
How would i go about making the Light effect for the plasma nade last a few seconds longer and be about 5x bigger?

I still don't know why you do that. It takes SO much longer, and it gets you the same result.

With Modding.
I actually Have no clue. Somebody will post here with an answer.
And I forgot, Andrew_b only uses CE now, he doesn't need HMT or dependancy swaps. He uses his Guerilla, and Sapien, and all that fancy stuff, and makes custom stuff, that comes out really cool.
Im waiting for that warthog park mod, I'll be sure to download it, it looks very promising.

you know, i used the search feature earlier. i searched fore ".DDS plugin"
I got 10 threads i had visited previously today and nothing that even pertained to the query...
