Okay, so if you have ever played on a Halo 2 fun mod before, you might have seen a flying turret. I was wondering if there was a way to make the Halo PC turret fly like that, or if it would take a lot of modeling and such... ~Thx in advanced~

make a covie turrent fly? shouldnt be too hard. as far as it looking the par.. there needs to be a custom model..

I always thought the flying turret was just a flying warthog with the driver seat and passenger seat made unusable, turret seat is given driver abilities and you lower the turret to floor using the one id32. You'll have to swap out a few bitmaps but not too hard.

All you do is disable some seats, change the bitmaps of the main body and tires to A10 cyro glass and change it so the turret person can drive and make the top part say dropship.

You could also remodel the warthog to make it just the turret being visible, and then have that be driver and give it banshee characteristics.



But you can't make the covie turrets fly, Gearbox put in something to make them un-movable in the PC version. If you mod your Xbox then you could do it, but you can't do it with the PC version, you have to use the warthog turret.

So, basically make the warthog invisible, make it fly, null out the seats, and make it fly?

Yeah, make the turret the only seat, give it the flag that makes it drive the vehicle, and change it's vehicle type to banshee, then voila, flying turret.

Okay, i did that, do you know what the bitmap for the windshield is? and also how do I lower turret to the floor, win Phenom's plugins?

id say make the turret the driver seat and either make the skin for rest of hog lvl/c10/cyro glass with the others seats taken out or edit it to make the hog body like 1 small compact disk under
