I just made a modded map, and set Halo up to be a server, but nobody will play on it.
I need help figuring out if people don't want to play on "Modded Boarding Action" or if something is wrong with my server.
Could someone do me a big favor and see if they can get on my server? The name's above, and there is a guy named "the janitor" inside.
TY

How would a mod increase your ping?

I added scenery and weapons. That's all. Is that enough?

It's a server issue. Modded maps cause game crashes after the joiner loads their map which is too different. This was a failed network connection. It didn't even get close to trying to load the map.

Thanks for trying.
Can you point me to a server tutorial? I'm on a wifi network using an Actiontec router

i think that is the problem try switching over to a wired network and see if that makes any difference.

I can't switch to a wired network. And there are probably workarounds.

can people join your unmodded servers? if so, the problem is with your map, the mods probably changed some headers or something, so it fails to load (except for you). Also, keep you mod installed, and join an unmodded boarding action server, see what happens)
I remember in like my third mod or something you played as jackals on boarding action, and that worked online when i joined servers

It works fine when I join an unmodded BA map. Lemme try hosting an unmodded map.
Nobody joined after ~12 minutes on Death island. So I don't think it's the mod.

I actually think you need to check your Port Forewarding.

I tried forwarding port 80, 2302, and 2303. That didn't work, so then I tried DMZ hosting (forwarding the whole computer) That didn't work either.

If you are using a Linksys router, you have to do Port Triggering, also.

Editing your router's settings has nothing to do with your printer, or desktop for that matter. (unless, the printer is on your wireless network)

Bout this server thing, I have to contradict.
When I first made ArmoryMod, I logmodded a sniper tower and a bridge in the sky, along with loading both bases with guns. Everyone could still play in the server, they just couldn't see the logs. They could, however, see the modded gun spawns. The problem is elsewhere.
