invalid file format.

Hello everybody, guess what i have another problem, i made a new floor texture, i want to inject it to hmt, BUT when i do it says, invalid file format, must be a DXT1 (2, or 3 i forget which) how to i make it a DXT 1?

when it says "Must be DXT1" , i beleave it's an error in the error message itself. it means that the texture is currently in DXT 1, and needs to be in DXT3.

So, convert it to DXT3, and go from there.

how tho???? i use DXTBMP and i cant seem to figure out how to sorry for the bumb, my internet just got up agian

You're talking worse than Shakespeare, let's slow down here.

HMT tells you the format to save your DDS file. If you save it in the wrong format, HMT will tell you the format that it is in, which really isn't useful. :P

when i save it as a dds i cant inject it, it says invalid file format, i dont no know to make it a DXT 3 if i did i would :3

Use the nVidia .dds plugin for Photoshop. It allows you to pick if you want it saved as a DXT 1, DXT 3, DXT 5, etc.
