Can anyone do me a big favor??

Anyways, im making editing DC and i need te level to have more of a sun set then a clear sky, like in the halo redux by pepsi and nessa, can anyone make it for me, and get full credit, or can someone give me a good tut????

you can rebuild danger canyon with a sky from another map. And then edit lightmaps to your liking.

The halo redux like TSC is like a sun set map, thats what i want for Danger canyon tho
TSC the silent cartographer but i dont no how to re light the maps..

Omg. Please stop posting like that, and please read other peoples' posts more carefully.
You don't 'light the maps', you skin the lightmaps.
You edit the sky by skinning, just like any other skin, but it's in a different format.

to go for the effect we did in redux your going to have to do the following..
-rework all the lightmaps for that level.
-edit the sky tag to bring the brightness down and add a hint of "orange" fog
-rework all the bitmaps on the exterior of the level. this meaning if the sun would hit it in real life, it needs to have its contrast raise slightly.
-rework all the sky bitmaps including the ring, threshold and basis.
-if you looking for what we did in redux to b30/deathisland with the animated aura sky (i wrote a tut on it) your going to have to make a custom shader for the active camo and apply it on the sky via the "unknown pc shader" tag in hmt.
if your too lazy to do the leg work then download redux and copy the changes we made on deathisland in dangercanyon.
all the changes you need for this "sunset" will be found in hmt under deathislands tag branches for...
-sky
-unknown pc shader
-bitmaps
just compare what ours is vs. a stock deathisland. i dont think anyone is going to make it for you cause its a mod that you want so depending on how bad you actually want it is up to you.

i was trying to do it my self but heres the problem when i go to inject the texture, it says invalid file format, must be a DXT then i forget what number, i have a awesome floor texture but i cant use it because of the error, so ill just use your textures, i give you full credit for them. Anyways thanks for the help ill give a update once im done.
