why cant i batch extract a10?

ive tried 4 times. it keeps hanging on me at the end of the extraction. am i missing something so simple that ill feel retarded when you tell me?

also..

i can honestly say ive never tried any PMI work in the SP maps, so is it the same deal as doing it in a MP map? ..and no, im not trying to do a SP>MP. i just want to PMI some different stuff into some campaign levels thats all.

make me feel like a total noob below this line .. lol

Sorry man, I actually don't know whats going on, I've never got this...
Does it give you an error or anything?

(p.s. does my seal still get the fish? Or is that just if I solve your problem? :3)

after a lengthy convo on xfire dealing with a "unusual" mod idea i got the answer.. just wait for it to get done.. im being impatient. usually a MP map takes about 30 seconds.. after a few minutes i thought it hung on me. took 7 mins total. ugh..

also..

well...i've never tried pmi in sp maps...but i think it'll come up with the beutiful exception error when you're done. why? because if you can move a peice of scenery just slightly in a sp map in sparkedit without getting an exception error....i doubt a pmi will be successful.

You can PMI most campaign maps, with the exception of d40.
If you try to batch any other map than b30, it'll take years, becuase the map is so big. It hangs at the end becuase it is extracting the BSP, the largest part of the map.
Questions answered? :P

good thing im looking to replace objects then move them, or yeah.. rebuild d40 (if you could) and block the last opening with barrell so you cant win. that would be funny.

good thing im trying something kinda new then.. if it works..

Have you seen my tropical mission mod? That is a PMI'd b30, with new objects. You have to think differently when modding campaign. If you want a new gun, you have to put it in someone's hands, rather than placing it on the map. You see? :P

HMT always hangs at the last bar. It will take a really long time for a10. My suggestion is leave it on over night.

Yeah, It's probably the BSP

Leaving it on overnight = not my kinda patience.
