AR animations problem

I have new AR animations and I have the META, XML, and the model all ready. I inject the new animations with the model and I get exceptions. Could someone say why this happens? The animations should work perfectly unless I'm missing something.

What level are you using, and where did you get the animations?

I don't know the levels thing but I've been testing with ripping animations from CE maps so I converted the Ce map to PC then opened it up in HMT and saved the animations META.

and to release you need permission, if you lie about ripping you get banned.

I thought you could rip things from a CE map, then use them yourself, as long as you don't release them. Is that right?

Isn't it impossible to have them not released since someone can just use HMT and extract whatever they want?

It's for the same reason we don't allow people to put data from full into demo. Just because you can get the data out of map doesn't make it ok. Someone created it. It's their IP. Like the written word, just because you can copy it and use it doesn't mean you should (or on this case allowed). That's also why HEK+ has the option to protect tags. Double check the map you're working with. A lot of the better tags that you can actually extract (jahrain for example) are freely available to use. They usually say so in the writeup on halomaps.org

I have permission to use the animations now I have to figure out how to get them ingame to Halo PC.

stop calling people noobs. And you're wrong, if it's assault rifle animations, the correct model is already in the map, therefore there is no need to PMI, just a five second rebuild will do.

Since when have I seen anything for Halo PC made by you? I'm already editing the campaign and blood gulch (not complete) which I've been working on for acouple weeks now. Where's everything that your doing or have made? I know PMI I was just wondering if I needed to do that for the animations and you sir, have been no help.

k patrick i refer everything model or not to pmi. so yes techinically you dont need to pmi, just rebuild, which i call rebuilds pmi. I guess i should rename it to PI. Perfect Injection.

ok I get it anyway can I feedback? Most all of those paintball mods are bad since all you need to do is swap the bullet hole bitmap for covenant blood (or change the proectile or something easy like that). The PB Night looks good and the Covenant Gulch looks good to me.

yeah...those pb mods where when i was like...1 month old modder, anyways...

you should "PI" the new animations
