How do I convert the map's model to 3DS?

I'm currently making an animation, and I would like to take a part of b30's map model for the animation(including textures and I think maybe shaders of that particular part), however...
My GoogleFu has failed me.

Can anyone please help me, or guide me, or even show me a way to convert a map's model from the .map all the way to something I can use in 3DS Max?

If anyone can, I will really appriciate it.

For just the model of a given bsp (map geometry), Eschaton has an option to save the current bsp as a .obj file. Of course there's several different bsps within b30 that you'd have to export and it wouldn't do textures but that's a start.

If I use a PC and not a Mac, would there be any problems?

Edit: Stupid me, I posted too fast, now I see a Windows version, sorry.

Shouldn't be. There haven't been any glitches with the SCNR editor from my PC testers yet. The one thing I heard was that the faces might be facing the wrong direction but it's uniform so they can all be flipped.

Thanks, Altimit01.
Now I need to apply the textures somehow, I guess I use the game as reference, and then take a look in HMT to see which DDS's are there.

If that doesn't work for you, sparkedit can do the same thing. Not to steal your thunder Altimit01, just giving him another option if he can't get that to work.

Haven't played with SparkEdit PC except for a little bit with sparkify so didn't realize that. I'd probably recommend sparkedit just because gren knows a lot more about map files than I do.
