Halo PC, Gathering exception data

i started modding bout 2 days ago, have 2 major problems.
i have installed, sparkedit, and Halo mapping tool.

Problem 1 : i went to edit the weapons on blood glutch, when i was editing i copied the meta for the gravity gun over the assult rifle, the problem is i did in the wrong catigory. Instead of the ''projectiles catigory i put it in the weapons catigory, but now everytime got to try and fix it it doesent let me edit th gravity gun or the assault rifle, and when i try to host a match in blood glutch i cant because it says gather exception data.

problem 2: i modded danger cayon and i learned from my mistake, my friend said he modded halo pc before so i trusted him he went to the assul rifle catigory and change alot of the detials on the gun, now i cant load the danger canyon map, it says gathering exception data as well, i need help BADLY, i need to fix it before i go insain.

You changed something you shouldn't have...
Restore the original ones
And don't ask for a dl, that illegal.

Can you explain in a more detailed version, i need to no EXACTLY how to fix this annoying problem, and what is a dl, I'm not tech savvy. please explain a little more. o and Ps i found out that i acnt use the assault rifle, if i change it to pistols only it works

how do i replace the map with a un modded one? im not to good with computers

ok ill try to explain this best i can, also btw if ur not "tech savy" you should get "tech savy" before you start messing with mods, no offense. ok put in your halo cd and click start, click my computer, then right click on your drive with halo pc in it and click explore. double click on file cabs and you should see a bunch of zipped files. copy those to someplace you wont lose them. close out that window and go to where u copied them. right click and click extract files here. you should now have a backup of all your maps. copy the map you messed up and go to your halo directory (right click halo and click properties then click show target). right click on the map folders and click paste. now your un-screwed up.

OR, just create a backup of everything so you can screw around with stuff and restore the defaults if you cause everything to go FUBAR
