every time i open sparkedit, it just sits there saying something about Copiling Tag Relationships

Well first and foremost welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy it here.

Secondly, your problem is that your on trial, you need to download a few things:

PPF-O-MATIC
The Sparkify Patches.


Once you get these, open PPF-O-MATIC and choose bloodgulch. Then select the sparkify patch and click patch.

Open it in sparkedit and have fun.

Then after that, before you re-open it in HMT or Halo, apply the un-sparkify patch.

Now begin the game, all your changes should be there if you saved them.

patience is a virtue. learn it. or delete and redownload.

1. learn about this first.
2a. technically modding Halo in any way nowadays is illegal
2b. some people do not care about 2a but some others do
3. do not post any bad mods
4. read the rules first.

im being patient, but it sits there doing absolutley nothing, nothing in the textbox, NOTHING but that message

its because the map has deferent bsp from the original or cause CE tags are in it.

it opened, thanks a bunch! The only forum i found hgelpful on the web (isn't that sad?)

But i have another problem, it couldnt load bitmaps.map

so everything's there, but there are no textures.

Whats happened?

that is normal do not worry about it.

No thats not normal

go into your maps folder, right click and select properties on bitmaps.map

copy the 'location'

Go into options, and under where it says bitmap.map location paste the location you copied, then reload your map.

It should work out fine

I fixed the problem, incorrect file path due to the fact i have a demo

Thanks alot guys, i've been looking for a long time for a hacking app like this to get everything started, only i hate 1 more problem

The biggest problem remaining is, How do i get stuff from the objects list, into the map?

I personally do not know how, because I do not use SparkEdit that much, not at all really. Mb DeadHamster knows that answer to this one.

If using the import tag into scenario isn't working, it means you have the old version of sparkedit, and need to download the newest version.

If you havent tried this, try.

Ihave the "import tag" feature but i don't know completely how to use it, so I can't go assuming its the version

I got this version of SparkEdit off of Download.com, so if the version there is old, so be it.

Where do i go to get the new version, if so?
