How do you add a new model (Not one that's already in the game...) to HaloPC? Or, how do you replace a model?

I would also like to know how to make a new, seperate weapon.

Sorry. I just can't really find anything for this. Everytime I try to import a model into the game, it gives me a "too many indices/vertices" message, and then nothing happens.

Just a LITTLE help?

well for halo pc, the only thing possible is remodeling, and that is just moving verts oround, or rearanging verts in the model, you cannot add any vertices, my suggestions are getting a free modeling program such as

misfit modeler, just use google to find it.
also there is blender, and milkshape, milkshape has a free 30 day trial, and can be perchased for only about 30 bucks.if you want further instruction pm me, or add me on msn

obviously if he's trying to inject a new model, then he must have a modelling program...

You can make new weapons by duplication. I'm doing a bit of research to fix a few bugs, such as strings :P .

I managed to reduce the vertices of the model I'm trying to add in to 1713 (I think that's it)/same amount as the first person AR model, but now it's telling me I have too many indices. What are indices, and how do I edit/delete/whatever them? I've tried Wings 3D and 3DS Max 9, but I can't find anytyhing related to them at all...

If you didn't remodel a gun, you will never be able to get it back in. You can't start from scratch.

Indices are basically the faces. You're restricted a certain amount of verts (points in space) and actual faces. And just to answer another problem that will inevitably occur, all of your faces have to be triangles. It's a halo thing.
