Hi Guys!

This is my first time to ask something is this forum, and I hope you can help me, thanks. :D

In Halo Trial, other's mods can be seen by everyone, but my server's mod cannot be seen by anyone, how should I make the mod in order to let people see my mods? Thanks.

I don't use router, and I use HMT 3.5 to mod things.

If I want to let my friends see the mod, they have to have the modded map. What's the problem? :(

if u want them to see YOUR mod
they must have YOUR modded file

step one complete :P

step two
uhmm are u making the games lan or wan? :P
(lan- local area connection(only u and people in your house can join via router))
(wan- world area connection(everyone can join))

Well how are you putting these things in there?

Use HMT and people may not be able to see your mod, using sparkedit guarantees they will, because all you do in sparkedit is move stuff around and duplicate it, so it's not adding anything new.

Oh I see, Thanks.

BTW, When I am using Sparkedit 3.02 to open the bloodgulch.map, it says compling tap relationships and does not pop out the map. Do I need to use HALO full version? If yes, can full version be the client-server and the trial version players play in the bloodgulch map? Thanks.

If you have full version, you only play with people with full, same with trial. But do not fear, because people a lot smarter than me have figured out a whole lotta stuff so that you and I dont have to.

Search for the Sparkify and Unsparkify patches, it makes your map openable in HHT/Sparkedit;

apply sparkify,
mod,
apply unsparkify,
play.

Repeat until desired effect is reached. lol.

I 'VE FIXED THE PROBLEM. THANKS.
I am sorry that I have a problem again LOL.

After I sparkify the bloodgulch map and open it with Sparkedit, The Sparkedit says "Unable to open HaloPC "bitmaps.map" map file. Please Check Tool-> Options... and make sure the path is set correctly." Then It just disappears and the map can be shown, but with no colour. Is that normal? Thanks.

Yeah it is actually, First locate where your halo trial folder is, go into your maps folder, right click bitmaps.map, select properties and then copy the line next to the word location.

Now go into sparkedit, click the options tab, and under bitmaps.map location, paste it there. Now it should load fine. If not make sure to add

\bitmaps.map

to the end under options
