Ai levels

I dont no If I should put this here or not but I need a faver if some1 can put some AIs on sidewinder,bloodgulch,icefields,beavercreek,deathisland,an all the other level with ai just the marines,eilte an floods. Dont put them in the map I just need them in halo map tools.

um dude....you do know that with AI PMIED from other maps really suck?

Not always, For example, if you select Flood_Combat_Unarmed AI, they will run at you, and then start trying to kill you by smacking you. But almost all the other ones suck.

by PMIing the Flood Combat AI and Biped into a map, and then assigning it correctly, and then getting relatively close to them. They'll run up hills if your too high to reach, they'll jump up ledges they can reach, and then try to attack you.

Do they do anything else? no...they suck. Every AI sucks. all they do is stand around. and if they see you either stand and shoot, or charge at you.
With CE your options are open.
Now im not saying there shouldnt be AI mods. Im just saying you should have CE->PC to really do anything.

I completely agree with that, PC AI does suck when it's PMI'd.
However, I know many people who are not willing to download both the Actual Halo CE program, and the HEK. My computer=the suck, it's old, slow, and it's dying. I don't want to put a giant file like that on the computer, so I try to make do with what I have, which is a sucky computer and HMT.

you dont need to download HEK...
just find a bloodgulch that has ai (CE map...) then extract the scenario.
Then just rebuild a map with the AI and Scenario.

What? thats not ai...thats just bipds standing around.
AI can go from Point A, to Point C, turn at point B, shoot at Point Z, come back to point A, Kill you at Point B.
haha i know thats not how halo reads it but it makes sense

i did think that they were ****, but if you edit their attributes,vision and hearing to a perfect fit, they can become a some-what reasonable AI
but the balance of vision and hearing needs to be perfect.
so your saying, i dont have to download CE, all i have to do is download a CE map, extract the scenario and rebuild it into a halo pc map??

yeah see heres it more detailed...Hey i should write a tut on this
1. you find a map with cool ai
2. you open that map in hht and cancel out everything that is CE or any devices. Basicly what ever isnt in bloodgulch null out, but keep the ai.
3. Rename and extract the scenario non recursively with HMT. (rename to bloodgulch.scnr
4. Now PMI all the AI and replace the scenarios.
5. Rebuild the map.
6. Play the map
I might make a more detailed tut.
