Mod Idea

Hey guys, was just thinking of what to do for my first real mod, and I thought what about Sentinel Wars in a space BSP?
I know that there would be several problems at the start, being that I believe sentinel could only use one weapon....but, I was thinking along the lines of turning it into a vehicle with secondary fire, and obviously trying to get the MC to spawn inside the vehicle, or be completely invisible on an invisible platform, and having it say something like "press E to initialise" or something along those lines, so that it looks believable when you enter, obviously the engine sound would be replaced by the sentinel movement sound.
As far as I know doing this is possible as I've seen MC's drivable like hogs lol, so there must be some way to do it....
As for the weapon I don't know, probably some weapon w/ skill to it, like some form of energy missile or some crap like that....imagine 16 sentinels in a game battling it out.
I wouldn't know about gametypes though, maybe king of the hill, obviously no oddball or ctf, slayer would work, but the sentinel would have to explode as they do in SP, and fall if possible, otherwise when you die the pov is gonna drop with the MC.
