Problems with HMT Rebuild

I'm having a problem converting the map "Halo" from SP-MP, i've tried multiple times following the tutorial that comes with HMT, but never got it just right:
1. The first time it worked, the BSP's bitmaps were of a ghost. Or a banshee. It changed depending on what angle you looked at it, but I fixed this, somehow, and instead i now get problem number
2. Random blue solids going throughout the map, as though a forgot to de-crap a model. I only added one new model to the map (pelican) and i am absolutely sure i decrapped it, so it's not that.
If anyone knows why it did this, please help me out?
And now, pictures (from sparkedit's POV) of my problems. Yay for pictures:

I still have to put all the spawn points inside it, but I can't find where they were originally because the blueness keeps getting in the way, i searched for a while but never found where all the old stuff was. I Still want to do some more sparkedit work after that anyway. What would cause this to happen though?

lol. So how should i fix it, is there anyway to or am i pretty much screwed? I tried to do this a couple times, starting from scratch each time and i got the same result.
Edit: In HMT when i try to open ANY model it pops up an error message and says unable to read beyond the end of the stream

replace all your maps...
and re download the modding tools
and if that works tell us..if not i might know how to fix it (but try that first)

and also..A30 bsps need CE->PC bsp conversions
Wha...? That doesn't sound good, Why does it need CE?
I'm re-getting all my maps and redownloading HMT and Sparkedit.

yes redownload those apps. yes a30 does need CE>PC because of the detail obect colloection (something along those lines)
also sometimes BSPs just crap up

so what does that mean, do i have to download the HEK to get this to work? Because if I do I'm dropping this, I don't have nearly enough time to download that bohemeth of a file. My internet=suck. not dialup-suck, but not much better

Ok, i did this again using a different map (B40-Assault On The Control Room) And had the same problem, Random colors in shapes shooting all over the place, and i cant see any of the models in HMT. Does This map need CE too, and if it does, could someone please tell me which maps don't?

just redo the rebuild, and when it asks you for BSP, in your vib or bsp build folder or whatever you called it, and select the smaller of the two files. DON'T use the one that was generated during the decrapping process. that should do it
i think the one you need to use doesn't end in '.meta'

Ok i managed to make the map openable in sparkedit, and then proceeded to move all the spawn points into the map, then tryed to start the game up in halo. However as soon as the game started i got the oh so lovely "You F***ed Something Up" Error, do i need to move everything into the correct part of the map, or can I leave things outside it until i can decide where i want them?

Ok, everytime i move the spawn points into my map, and save, they stay there until i close sparkedit, and then they dissapear, and two are made outside the map, and one of them stretches across the screen. I've already re-rebuilt the map twice, it still does the same thing everytime.
Map= B40 AOTCR.
