hello i was thinking about halo and i want to know if someone can make a mod so that the enamy has a arrow on top of there head aswell as your alies but it has to be a difrent colour(der)the mod would hav to be able to work on any map and any server (im a cheat) and not cause exception errors.
the reason i want this is cause i suck at halo and it might help (and it would just be cool)
ok, this is what you do:
1. go to the offset 1548956
2. change it to 48 46 89 43
3. go to offset 1548894
4. change that one to 44 85 65 40
5. close and save changes to that map, but watever you do, DON'T MAKE A BACKUP
6. open the map in spark edit and make 3 new teleporters
7. make one of the from the blue base to the red base, one vice versa, and one from the red base into the very center of the map
8. save the changes and fire up halo.
9. go to a server with that map running and you'll see the enemy triangles.
it's a lot easier than you would've thought it to be, isn't it
Actually, i just found out a lot easier way of doing it:
all you really need to do is go to this folder:
C:\\program files\microsoft games\halo\maps\
Then, just delete that little useless file called ui.map
Be sure to empty your recycle bin on you desktop befor you try to play halo or it will still see that file and give you an exception error.

There is an even easier way. Open your start menu, go to All Programs (WinXP), go to "Accessories," and click on the "Command Prompt."
Now, simple type in:
C: Format
And you're done!

Except that won't work anyways because you are using the drive that your formatting

wow, u guys r really stupid. Please stop giving the poor guys false info. All you have to do is restart in DOS and write "format c:" (thats takes off the NilObjectException) then after that completes you go into HMT and just swap scen off marker/cyborg for anything you can see clearly.
