is there a tut on how to add vehicles to a map which has no vehicles like wizard or carousel?

(not to rebuild the map preferrably)

Every MP Map has all 6 of the vehicle's data.

but, on some maps, there are no vehicles, so you can't move them in spark edit

you might have to edit the .scnr.xml (or something) file.. maybe add a dependancy? or you could just replace a scenery object.. but thats too easy and it wont respawn

Okay. There are 2 ways of going about this. The first way is a lot easier and faster to do and the second is slightly harder.

1) Just get the meta of a vehicle, highlight it, and paste it over a scenery object. Then in SE3 you move the piece of scenery/duplicate it/ whatever you want.

2) This one may be more favourable to people who don't want to replace scenery. I will use "chiron/putput.map" and the "warthog" for an example. In HMT open putput.map and go to the "[vehi] Vehicles" tag and select the warthog. Now see at the top right of the "Tag Information" there are three boxes? Well now you have to change them. For the first one change it to "scen". For the second change it to "obje" and for the third change it to "yyyy". Now click on "save". Now you will see that the warthog is under scenery, and not vehicles. Now open putput.map in SE3 and go to "tools">"import tag into scenario...". Select scenery and the warthog and click on "okay". Then get an already existing scenery piece and click on it. then duplicate it. and then under "swap:" select the warthog. Save your changes and open the map back up in hmt. go to the scenery tag and click on the warthog. change the three boxes this time back to: "vehi", "unit", "obje" and click save. close hmt and enjoy. you now have imported a vehi without replacing a scen object! Congratulations!

what do you mean? do you mean the vehicle thing or the scenery thing

and how do i import new scenery like a rock from a sp (or mp) map and add it into the converted map because that is not explained in the tutorial by Mono i know how to extract it but when i add it to rebuild map "add" stuff section i tried to add the mod2 thing but it didnt work and do you need to de-crap a model like a vehicle that is already in there like a hog or a ghost in a sp-mp conversion

You don't add the mod2, thats a dependency, you add the veh.meta if its a vehicle, those files contain references to other dependencies that make up the tag...you just de-crap the models for the BSP chunk you are going to build for the conversion.

WAIT would it make a difference in the scenery in the sp conversion if i used something like danger canyon instead of carousel?
