help my sparkedit wont load anything

ok when i load up sparkedit everythings fine, i click on file open cache file and open the file i want to edit but nothing loads up its just a black gray screen.
ps: im trying to upload a trial version of bloogulch so should it work?

its a ppf patch you apply to your bloodgulch.map so you can open it in HHT and sparkedit, then you undo it and use the modded files in halo
