PMI'd item not showing up

I PMI'd the b40_shaftring into bloodgulch and the PMI went successfully, no errors or anything. I checked the bloodgulch.map.rebuild.map and it showed that it was a larger file than the original bloodgulch.map. So I opened up the modified bloodgulch into HMT, and I go into scenery and I don't see it in there. So I go into models, and I still don't see it. I tried rebuilding the map again and it still didn't work...
What do I have to do to get this thing to show up in HMT?

I had this problem once - anything I pmi'ed messed up. I just re-downloaded hmt and problem was solved.

Did you rename the map to bloodgulch.map?
Edit:
Oh, also try looking for it in [mach] if you haven't already.

Yes I did, and I'm not seeing a [mach] category

Weird...

The [mach] category will appear only if you PMI something from it into the map (unless the map already has one of those)

Make sure when you're rebuilding to add all the proper files to the box. Otherwise, no idea

I'm adding all the files that were extracted...
I dunno, I'll just pmi something while following a tutorial to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, or if it's just my version of HMT, or whatever.
EDIT: Followed a tutorial word for word... didn't work...

Ok... I re-installed Halo, I deleted everything to do with HMT and downloaded the un-updated version (Just in case that was the problem..), put all of it's files back on my computer, and re-tried the PMI, and still, it didn't work.
But I was thinking and I have a question... for scenery, do I need to recursively save the meta..? Or do I not do that?

Im pretty sure you always recursively extract while PMI-ing. And i've had the same problem with scenery doing a crashed peli.

Yeah, my problem is this happens when I try to PMI anything :\
