HogWars, sounds great... but it wont Work!!! HELP!

hey, this is my first post in the Halo Mods forums.. been over at Hack Halo for a while, wanted to see what was going on over here.

Here's my issue with the HogWars mod.. I followed all of the directions, making a new folder, putting bloodgulch.map in it, batch extracted the meta, unRar'ed the HogWars folders into the new BLoodGulch folder, Rebuilt the map, replaced my original Bloodgulch map (C:\halo\maps) with the newly rebuilt one (and yes i renamed it to bloodgulch.map), then i patched the bitmap file with the bitmaps.patch.ppf file... so far so good right? WELL, everytime i go to run BloodGulch it loads fine.. but NOTHING IS CHANGED! everthing is the same... and i know that it shouldnt be, can someone PLEASE help me and tell me what i may be doing wrong if they've got it to work???

you did overwrite all 7 folders from the orginal meta with the modded ones right?

I also followed all the instructions, i batch patched replaced all the files
renamed the rebuild copy to bloodgulch.map and renamed the original one to bloodgulch.bak but when i open the game up it went into the stupid gatherin info error
