putting ai in a map after rebuild?

how do you put ai in a map after the rebuild? i can do the PMI process fine but i dont know how to add the ai. could i have some help? btw how do you take ingame screenshots?

have you already rebuilt it? if you want AI you can get it, however it'll just stand and shoot at you, it won't move. If you want good AI that moves and shoots and chases, rebuild it with it in there, i'll explain that after.
So here's what you have to do for it w/o the rebuild (crappy AI):
-Open map in HHT
-Go to BIPD tag.
-Select the character (cyborg works, dont use cyborgMP)
-go to actv.
-Swap it with 'ghost pilot' or something like that.
-go to the ghost.
-select actv, and swap with ghost pilot again.
-Go into sparkedit.
-Find the ghosts, and flip them over.
-Open HMT
-Switch the Cyborg team to covenent.
The AI will spawn on top of the flipped ghost and shoot at you with an assault rifle, you can do this with any vehicle, tanks work well, just replace every actv field with the same actv tag.
To get smart AI.
-Batch extract a clean map, as well as BSP.
-Open a new map and recursiv. save the bipd, actv and actr tag of any character you want in, in example if you want elites shooting you select elite bips, elite major plasma rifle actv, and elite major as actr, flood select which flood bipd, the actv of what weapon you want it to have, and it's actor.
-Save these in a folder named new stuff, it'll make it easier.
-Decrap the models of the character AND the gun that the character uses (elites: decrap elite and plasma rifle, marines the marine and assault rifle)
-If you extracted a marine or flood, go into your new stuff and delete the powerups folder or your game will not work. Thanks Andrew_B for telling me that.
-copy paste your sbsp into the right spot and copy everything in new stuff into your build folder, rebuild map and select the Bipeds, Actr, Actv, Bitm of the AI, AND the new guns as new items added.
I kinda skipped alotta parts cause i assume you know how to rebuild, there are a lot of tuts on it, search for one if you need more in-depth stuff.
and to take ingame screenshots click printscreen, minimize open paint and click paste, then save. or get a program that saves it automatically so you don't always have to minimize it. Fraps 1.9 does that, it also records video.

i have a problem with spawning crappy ai. i do what you said but when i go in game there is a flipped ghost with nothing on it. i cant see the ai in sparkedit either.

hm. Try moving the ghost higher off the ground, i doubt that will work but maybe he's falling through. If that doesnt work, PMI in the elite BIPD with all his bitmaps, just the BIPD.
I never did the crappy AI way that much, only once real quick, and i think i might have just found my mistake
Go back into your map file, go to to the Ghost pilot under [actv] and for biped select characters/cyborg/cyborg. Then go to the ghost and set the actv to the ghost pilot. sorry about that
If you have the plugins for HMT you can make the AI harder to beat, not sure how much, but select [actv]Ghost Pilot in HMT and mess around with that, it explains itself, everythings straight foward.
