HELP
PPF = playstation patch file
The file records all changes between one version of a file and a modified version along with the location of those changes. Extremely light when releasing non-rebuilt mods. Doesn't work with rebuilt maps.
To create:
Use the program PPFMaster.
Select as your Original File, the unmodded version of your map.
Select as your Modified File, the modded map you wish to release.
All of the other options are unnecessary for this.
Press the Make button and you should have a brand spanking new .ppf
To apply:
Use either PPFMaster or PPF-O-Matic.
Select as your Target File, the map which you wish to apply the mod to.
Select as your Patch File, the .ppf you downloaded.
Press the Apply button, and the all the changes recorded in the .ppf will be applied.
