How do I put AI in a map, after rebuild?

Sorry to bother everyone, but how do i get AI to spawn in a map? I can rebuild with them, I just need to know how to get them to spawn (and respawn, preferably). Ive tried slapping them into vehicles, but that just gives an exception.
If someone could direct me to a useful tutorial, that would be great.

I know how...Well when you inject it open hht v5 go to vehicles\ghost_mp-ghost and find second actv.this is nulled out seat and swap it with characters\elite\elite.you can do that with other vehicles, but when the vehicles respawn the ai Characters are gone.This is the problem.

Ok, select the AI that you rebuild (ex. Elite)
---under [actv] select the actv of the character you rebuilt
---in the [actv] tag make sure that the [weap][bipd]and[actr] are all filled in how you want them to be
---go down to the ghost tag under [vehi]
---Under [actv] in the ghost, select the [actv] you had done previously.
---under [bipd] in ghost, select the biped of the character your using.
---I would suggest switching the ghost meta with a health pack, they will automatically respawn with the AI every few seconds. (HMT)
---Go into your map with sparkedit and flip over the healthpacks upside down and place them a little off the ground.
your AI will fall out of the ghost and go to attack you when it sees you, then a little while later, the next will respawn whether or not the first has died yet. Mucho Fun.

they don't neccescarily get out of the vehicle...more like they fall out. And then shoot at you standing still.
HOWEVER: if you rebuild the map with AI and bipeds from a campagin level the AI is a lot better, it acts like it does in SP, It'll chase you shoot at you dodge stuff etc. etc. etc.
