error with sound file swap
error with sound file swap
so i used gold wave to edit a sound effect from an old star wars game i have lying around (X-wing vs Tie) since it was a wav file. i switched it to a one channel mono mixed sound (one channel) and saved as xbox codec 22.05 whatever (same as pistol) and successfully imported it. but when i tried it. it was completely messed up. did not sound anything like the sound effect i wanted. If someone could help me figure out whats wrong, i'd be very grateful. PM me for the sound file i imported into halo, edit with gold wave if you have it. thanks everyone.
make sure the sound is the same size or slightly larger.
I f you need to put in a smallyer sound, add in abunch of empty space after the sound so that it's slightly larger than the one you're injecting over
