I have tried at least 20 times to PMI AI into beaver creek, i add all the files, but when i look at the rebuilt map in HMT, NONE of them were added. It's adding the files in, the map size is 2000kb larger, but they're not there, and it sucks, because it happens everytime....why?

if you are running vista...
run hmt as an administrator
1. right click hmt icon
2. click run as administrator
(could someone count how many times i have posted that.)

eh? check to make sure that you added only the files you need... tell me what you are adding... if the map size increases by that much when u pmi something small you know u did something wrong...

No I do, I have to add the bitmaps, shaders, and apparently the sounds for the flood too, if i dont it says that it didn't find them, and goes through the list of all the sounds i missed, and then stops and won't let me rebuild anything again until i restart my computer.

When you fail at a rebuild, press ctrl + alt + del and end HaloMaptools.exe under the processes tag.
Extract the tags to your build folder, not a different folder like i did...

I figured out that part, i moved all the tags to a "Meta" folder so i can add everything at once w/o going through all the folders, and thats prolly why it didn't add anything in. I actually never thought of the ctrl-alt-del. I feel kinda dumb now.

he rebuilt the map...
ctrl alt del, or ctrl shift esc only works if the rebuidtree or w/e is being used (or on vista you need to run it as an admin)
With the marines and flood you need to delete some files so you dont exception.
In the marine actv, and bipd folders delete the powerups folder.
In the flood actv, and bipd folders delete the powerups folder.
There that will make it so you wont exception in game.
