HMT 3.5 Inejecting Sounds

Ok this is really driving me crazy. I try and try again but I can't figure out how to inject sounds into Halo PC. I have the Xbox ADPCM codec, HMT3.5 and goldwave. But all the time my sounds are either cut off or won't play (or the game just crashes when the sound is supposed to play.) I really need idiot proof steps to help me achieve this. I'm replacing Halo announcer sounds with ones from UT2004 but it keeps screwing me over. Please, if someone could help me I'd be grateful.

And by the way, what the heck is chunk in HMT3.5? And what restrictions are here like is there one like: Injected sound cannot be longer than original sound??

sounds to me like you're editing the OGG Vorbis sounds, not the ADPCM WAV. Whenever I try to edit OGG it crashes halo, also. Make sure you're injecting ADPCM WAV into spots that are ADPCM WAV, also, make sure they are the same hertz. Look here for more information on that. Hope this helped.
