Skinning reticles

alright, ive been working on this for well over a few hours now, and i cant figure it out. I want to change the colors of the reticles in game. In game the reticles show up as blue. But when i save the texture and try to edit it, the reticles are white, which since it is a8r8g8b8, it should show up in game as black. What is it that makes the reticles blue? how can i change it to oh idk lets so orange or goldish orange?

If anyone has the answer please post quickly because I am stumped when it comes to reticules or aimers. Don't want to spend a day pulling my hair out and getting millions of errors trying to find this out :lol:

im pretty sure it takes w/e is white and then thats the reticule, it's always blue. But you could try just using different colors, and seeing if it comes up not blue. But im almost positive it always does.

thats not what i mean. The alpha should make it so the white shows up in game as black but it shows up blue. i tried skinning it orange and got green cause it combined the orange and blue :'( and I think this has to do with changing hud color so ill ask phenomena.
