HMT problem

i have been trying to import things from B30.map (silent cartgrapher) and i try putting them in then i rebuild the maps and it rebuilds them successfully but when i reopen the rebuilt map in HMT it says overflow or something like that.... and if i try opening it on sparkedit it says cant open unamed seeked file??? can sum-1 help me

Other Question:

i been trying eveything but nuffin i was able to make energy swords not explode and chage da meta's but still i cant see da sword wen i hold it and i cant kill no-1 with it (this is in campaign b30.map... i am on trial please help...

ALSO I HAVE TRYED IMPORTING IT INTO BLOODGULCH BUT I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESFUL CAN SUM-1 HELP ME

For the first question, did you add the models of what you imported? Im not really sure what your problem is, you might want to do it over, following a tutorial for it.

And as far as the energy swords, thats much more difficult. The reason you cant see them is they have no FP model(the model you see when you hold the gun), and if theres no model, theres nothing to see. You could assign it a model in HHT, but not in HMT. Your best bet would to be finding a sword model on the site (easy) and assigning the sword to that model.

Also, you cant "shoot" the sword, it's a bash, so clicking wont hit anyone, you have to hit F. im pretty sure at least, if i'm wrong please correct me.


Im also assuming you switched the user ability to something the chief can use (its the 'clicky' menu once you select the gun in HMT, use the assault rifle[AR]), if you didn't he wont be able to use it at all.

If you have Phenom's Plugin pack, you can check off one of the things that says "explodes when dropped" or something like that, and when it falls it wont dissapear.

And lastly, the swords wont lunge because it's not in the game, so if you want that you'd have to do CE modding, in which case you would need to buy the game, or...nevermind, you'd have to buy the game. There's also a PC map that has lunging swords, im not sure if it's trial or not, but i dont think so.You should buy the game anyway, i got it at best buy for $15. Theres alot more maps to mod, alot more stuff to use and alot more....you get the idea, its better.

lol thanks anyways i mostly knew that... also i cant open the b30.map in HHT... (i am on trial)... i been trying to find a Halo pc but there is none on the stores anymore in australia and there is only halo 2 but i am not good enougth for it lol.. i mean that me computer that is da best cant support it i will have to buy a new computer which might have to cost me around $3000 AU to get all the system requirements unless i download HALO CE and find a way to hack into it or sum-1 helps me to get the serial number to make it work so it can install it

For the B30.map, you need to download PPF-O-Matic or HHHT, and apply a .ppf file to it, called sparkify. THen when your done editing the map, u need to apply the unsparkify so it can open in HMT/Halo. This will also let you edit the maps in Sparkedit.

Ahh that sucks. Yea my computer cant run H2 either, and i dont feel like getting vista, buying a new computer and the game just so i can make some map, i'll pass on that grass.

And as far as the serials, you'll have to look elsewhere, halomods doesn't really take very kindly to that sort of thing.

lol ok thanks anyways.... but wo i managed to fix my problem mslf but hey hang on i rebuilt a map using a trial map and wait it turned out as a full halo bloodgulch map then i used HMC to convert it to trial again but it wasnt playable lol it just made it to trial but it wasn't playable lol

hmmmm.....weird. I never PMI'd anything on Trial, so I don't have any expierience with that. How do you know it's a full PC map though?

I know that its a full halo map because i compered the map using HMC to convert it and convert it back again. then i compared the Halo trial original map and the one that i moddoed and converted to trial using HMC and there alot more funny looking characters on the original file then the other... also i have downloaded full halo maps before hopeing they werent maps instead .ppf files but i opened it in HEX and i opened the rebuilt map just rebuilt and open one mod which was for halo full PC and it was the same so i found out the mod i created was for PC instead of trial but i was using a trial bloodgulch map...

I know that S1VR actually successfully PMIed into trial
