HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I make a mod server with modded maps and people try to connect to it to get in but they cant... it says "unable to connect to server" after going through a the (1),(2),(3) number thing

someone pleae help i really ant to start a server?!?!?

your router and/or firewall wont allow anyone to join your server.

i tried and checked all firewalls on my computer all give halo full access.. the router though i dont how it would block it help?

Dude. Calm Down. Just so you know, not all mods are internet playable.

sorry but its frustrating and ive even tried without a modded map people still cant connect...i downloaded halo ce and my firewall asked if i wanted to allot it to accept connections maybe it will work now, try to connect pls

if they dont have the same moded map as you they might not be able to join, there are some that can, i think it depends what you edit.

the thing is on the server im hosting right now

its not a mod map its just ce blood gulch classic rocket slayer

it's CE? I can't run CE for some reason, but make sure they dont have mods on theirs, and make sure your firewall isn't blocking anything, unblock the haloce, haloceded, gamespy arcade, etc. It might help out.

ok since u dont have ce ill run it in full so try it again should be same ip address except last 4 numers different cuz i changed t oso if i t would work

ok, go to www.portforward.com find ur router and find the game then follow all the directions. if you don't have a static ip set one up then forward ports

Guys! This isn't your IP for internet! This is your local area network IP. From what I know, I disabled all possible firewalls then it worked.

How many times are you gonna double post, this is the 3rd time you did it, in the same thread. try editing your posts.

dif ip adresses though and i did changes after that one post so it shouldnt be a problem...dont post unless you tried that ip because i need help not criticism
