Help With Assault Rifle Counter

Post by DeadHamster »

Hey I'm trying to make a battle rifle as part of a mod i've been making for a while now. I have the model, skin and the burst fire all set and perfect, the only problem i'm having is getting the Ammo Counter to read 36 as opposed to 60. It begins at 60 and goes down by 5 shots every time, as opposed to three. Oddly enough it balances out, but it's still annoying and i'd rather it not be broken, thats just me. :)

I thought about editing the bitmaps, but realised that it'd be impossible to do so, and figured there had to be a way to get it to work right because i've seen other mods that had it working. :?

I read a post with the same problem, and someone said to hex edit the (weapons\assault rifle\fp\shaders\numbers) meta, but when i opened it up in Hex Workshop, i couldn't find any values for the number plates, all there were were dots, random numbers and letters and '?'. Could someone help me on this and tell me what values to edit, or if there's another way could to do it. Thanks. :P
