HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I get this error:



this happens every time, and I have no idea how to fix it. It never happened before, but now it has. The only thing I did was install Windows vista. There is nothing different besides that.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Also, if this is the wrong forum, please tell me.

run it in safemod and see if that happens

1. go to properties of halo
2. change the target or whatever from halo.exe" to halo.exe -safemod"

It still gives me the same error.

Did you run DXDIAG?

Yes, and it found no problems. And, hardware acceleration is at max.

hold on..you upgraded to vista right? did you try right clicking it and clicking run as administrator...that might do something.

Nope. It did nothing. It still gives me the exact same error as always. =(
