Halo Map Tools v.3.5 help

i recently downloaded HMT v.3.5 and I cant do anything on it idk how or what to do can someone give me a great tutorial so i can get started... also, can u create ur own Halo map without having to mod anything?

see the tag names....scroll to the bottom you will find two tags named vehi, and weap. those are the vehicles and weapons of that map...
no, if you want to make custom maps, start exploring Halo Custom Edition.

lol go to file open then go to mycomputer click on the halo icon then look for a MAPS folder then click on what map you want EX:blood gulch) then go down to like andrew said go to the [vehi] tag you should see a box like this [+] click it it will drop to 6_vehicles EX: click rw_warthog well were gona make it fly so then you should see cicrcles at the top right hand cornor click pelican/drop ship then click save start up halo and you no have a rw_warthog that flys yea yea wee!

when I try to open the MAP file it wont work so i cant get all of that stuff

When I try to open it, it says "invalid map file" or whatever

Dude no double posting it causes spam try reinstalling it if that doesn't work simpply download new maps.
