The POA SPACE conversion mod!

I have converted and am starting to construct a multiplayer level around the A10 SPACE bsp(the outside of POA) Here is a link to pics
http://files.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=4673
Everything is going very well so far and I think it will make a realy fun level once its finished. The level will undoubtedly be a dog fight type of level but it will also be a ground battle level because of all the great spots to run around in the POA's back
*WARNING!!, playing on the back of a UNSC Cruiser while it is moving through space is highly dangerous, you may risk falling into space!*
If you have any cool ideas for what should be done with this conversion please post your ideas here

, I have added the Pelican and the POD to this level(along with a crashed peli collision model) and the level also has all regular multiplayer vehicles although I have yet to place any in the level. There are also human shield placements that I will be placing in soon as well as other stuff.
There will also be a large amount of teloporters since the POA is so huge(I'm surprised that such a large BSP even works in multi, lol) One flag will be in the bridge and the other nearby(not currently known where other flag will be)
So post your ideas here
By the way, there is no release date for this mod yet, it will be done when its done.
MAJOR thanks to MonoxideC for his hard work at making HMT 3.5 and other HMT's possible.
And SOME MORE MAJOR thanks to Grenadiac for SparkEdit

Damn, I guess I'm not the only one who was thinking this would be a cool idea. Yesterday I spent the better part of the day trying to covert that level with no success whatsoever. The reubild on HMT would never finish. Kept looking for a file in a10. Was very aggrivating. Anyway, looks good. Kinda bummed cause I actually thought noone would have thought of this..

lol why are people all doing a30 etc and the hangar, people there are far more BSPs that have potential out there, you just have to see it, the maw_a is gonna be excellent when I finish it, no it aint just a few days worth of modding!

Yeah, it took me about 6 days or so(since HMT 3.5 was released) to get this to work. I should also thank the people who figured out the problem with the non _a BSP's, otherwise I would still be pounding on my comp telling the conversion to work.

I know the trick to fix this(i think), but still having the same problem. It seems now its this one..
cannot find path build folder/levels/a30/a30.sbsp
I tried this many times, with same basic result.. This is an error when the map is rebuilding. Not the spark edit "seek" error.
Since when are there "guidlines" to our imagination? Who is to say how cool a mod can be once finished? I never realized there has to be some type of thought pattern that we have to follow to have a mod be good. The way I see it is if the mod is fun and keeps being fun and balanced, then it is a good mod. Put quite simply, if you don't like a mod, don't download and play it. Easy enough.

Hmmm, I don't know if I ever had that first error u mentioned, I had the seek error before though, if u have that I think the conversion doesn't work at all, but I could be wrong. I never converted an a30 bsp before so I don't know to much about what u are doing wrong, but I do know that if you arent converting a BSP with _a at the end that u have to edit the multi snr meta file in a hex editor for it to work, I'll PM the tut to u for that part.

There is no BSP is the correct answer I think, I just flew the lifepod around a little.

There is always a barrier....its invisible...only thing I could measure it by is shooting at it with a plasma charged shot, when it just dissapears instead of fizzles out, you've hit the barrier :D

No, thats not the barrier I'm talking about. I meant the flight barrier, the one a person can go past but not a flying or driving vehicle.

Man you forgot to add the sky before you rebuilt it! That sucks

Ohh and I change the right offset in Hex So its right and I still get a Seek File error! That or "Memory low". Wich I don't get because I have 34 gigs left in my hard drive! Help! BTW: Nice job; but it needs the sky

A flight wall only works for anything with the ID of: Banshee and Pelican/dropship.

Hey blaze i think i know what your doing wrong. Make sure when you open up the sbsp.xml and you change the file path that you put "levels\test\"mapname"\"mapname" instead of levels\"mapname"\"mapname".

Lol that is a easy step to forget.

I have discovered a few annoying problems with this BSP, similar problems that Boarding Action has. If you fly a vehicle around a little and then throw a grenade in certain places you get an exception

. This happened to me in BA when I spent too much time on top of the level, outer space BSP's seem to have that prob. If anyone knows a way to prevent this prob or make it not happen as much please PM me about it.
