i have a mod im working on, and as soon as people join, they get an exception. :!:

is this because of the massive rebuilding [AI, Rain] or that i changed the globals?

all the other modding was normal i.e. weapon / vehicle edits bitmap swaps model injection. PLEASE ANSWER.

if you know the answer, do you have a solution to the problem>? :?:

PS only experienced replies THANK YOU

did you give them the mod? even if you didnt, that wouldn't make it crash. also, you cant have AI in online play, althoough that wouldn't make it crash either. I would have to say the problem is the rain, thats the most 'iffy' sounding part... so null it out using HHT to test, and try again.

you need to make sure others playing have the mod or they get exceptions or extremly bad lag.

forgot to add, AI in a map you own will not transmit online to other players, so only you would be effected by the AI, and they only effect the main user, so if another person has it, the AI would act in a completely different way than yours would, so he might join and get attacked but you wouldnt see HIS AI attacking him.

that is why Co-op isnt possible-ish

and that also may be why your friend got an exception.

well i havent confired that everyone gets an exception, but i sent the mod to a friend and as soon as he joined he got one...but anyone else who joins without the mod stay for 1 sec then quit...so im assuming they get it too.

wrong. woochopper and i played the mod together and it worked fine. i could see him getting beat by the flood them killing him, and he died from it too. so the other person AI and yours do do the same thing when u play AI co-op.

sorry but i asked kindly for only experienced help. your not even trying to help just trying to get your post count up! HA.

my friend is a dumbass must have screwed something up to get that exception. i could be wrong though.

Does HHHT let you edit bipeds[ so my marines can throw grendaes right and use all vehicles/weapons and get flags like MC biped when i play as them?] i also need the MC bipeds' HUD [ health /shield bars to show up when playing as a marine.

*stomps on you* AI can't be played in multiplayer anyway. So why bother?

1) AI can be played in multiplayer
2) People who don't have the AI map will probably see the vehicles (if that's what you replaced)
3) Game globals like running speed? That would just give the other person bad lag. Their computer thinks they're going a certain speed when they're actually going a different speed and it appears jumpy.

4) And this is what you're looking for:
You said you added rain, right? If they don't have the rain properly referrenced in their map, they WILL get an exception error, so I suspect that's your problem.
