how to change color of energy shield.. please help me

please tell me how to change the color of MC's shield i am tired of it's default.. an example is on pg 6 of downloads the name of the mod is
[assorted mods and skins ect] Ross's mod threads

you will see a pic of MC with a purple shield....... i want to know how to do that

he probably PMId the elite shield effect and just swaped the metas

If you ever want to get anywhere in this community or not be put up as an idiot/noob, I suggest you learn some patience and wait for more then 2 days for a reply. If someone knows how to do it, I'm sure they'll either tell you or help on doing it.

Try modifying the floating point color values in the tag spla: characters\cyborg\shaders\shield hit
Specifically the perpendicular tint and the parallel tint color values.

OMG you're so lost!!! Just go to [spla]Shader Plasma
Characters\cyborg\shaders\shield hit
and play with that

yep. The tags should have what you need. I think its much better to get used to playing around with hmt and have some tutorials memorized before asking questions.
