need help on understanding?

ok, i've read monos tut on 3.5, done it, all works, converted aotcr inside hall battle into mp, works, its pretty good, might release it, converted 2-3 maps now, and perfect models, thats all fine, but i wanna know how it WORKS, i mean, why change the dependancy tag, etc... could anybody help me?

must we know? as long as it works is good enough i think

yeah, i suppose, but i always wanted to know how it worked, also, since mono is discontinuing hmta and i know how to code pretty well, and hes making it open source, i guess i could add features if anybody needs it.
