Junglewinder mod

ok i don't have ce so there will be no conversions unless of course someone is willing to help me with that.

So first things first this map is sidewinder with elites, wraiths. pelicans, and that fighter bomber thing pmi'ed into it. it also has the ghsot as the monitor which you can fly for a twist. I have been working on master chief becoming an elite but when i do it, he won't shoot any weapons besides the pistol and possibly the covenant wepons. If i switch the animation trigger back with the cyborg he doesnt interact with any of the vehicles correctly, He stands up and its horrible.

please help me on how to fix this

Oh and also when i try and swap the cyborg's shaders with the elites it looks pretty ugly, the elite turns out like one solid color. I migh be doing something wrong :( so anyways i need help if any1 is willing.

Anyone who helps will be added in the credits during the release of this map(obviously) and i may need some help with making new wepon models cuz i have just started doing it and i'm not that great at it

You must use the elite animations.

For the weapons :

-Open up hmt
-open your map
-go to [weap]
-CHange the Weapon/userability to a cov weapon so the elite can pick it up.

For the vehicle :

-Open up hmt
-Open your map
-go to [vehi]
-Choose the mp_warthog, scroll down in the tag editor, you'll see a "seat". Clik on the list, choose the "0". The marker name for the driver is "W-driver" change that to "G-driver" so he can use the hog. Do that for every seat.

For the shader : keep using elite shaders. You will need the lastest plug for [soso] tag, by phenomena. Then open up the elite's shaders and in the "colour change" part, choose C. Hurra, you now have a nice elite that can you choose his colour like a Masterchief :wink:

oh wow ur the greatest all i needed help with was the weapons but if i change their user ability will that do anything to the weapon? cuz i remember chaning like a ghosts user ability to like dropship and then it could fly...:)

well thnx mucho and ill try to find that updated soso tag unless its the one i already have..not sure lol

oh i checked and i have the right tag, everything u said worked(of course) but when i switched the soso tag colour thing to c the elite only changes between red and blue. To make it so any color mc is the elite is, do i have to reskin the elite and make it so the armor is white instead of blue?

EDIT:sorry for double posting before,
anyways, wtf how come everytime i pmi a pelican into sidewinder something is wrong with it? the first time it was completely invisible, and now it little tail wing things are way up further

i didnt do anything to it. I think it's HMT. I have pmi'ed the pelican into other maps before fine but it isn't working with this one no matter what. I've even tried recursively saving it from other maps to see if that would make a difference but it doesnt.

Well i have more problems with my map :D of course.

I was modding along when all of a sudden i noticed there was no rocket hogs in my map. So i opened up sparkedit and there they were. They were showing in sparkedit but they werent there in my map... help?

Oh and I am willing to start overif someone is willing to redo the bsp for meand change all the snow and ice to dirt and water. I would do it but i don't have ce

sheet sorry for the couble post bu t i dont want to make a new topic just for this......hoooooowwww do u make a projectil homing? i cant find it in hmt....maybe i have the wrong plugins

ROFL thats one werid peli, anyway, go to hmt go to lets say... b30 extract the peli's model thats in the tap mod2 go to sidewinder and inject it into the peli, hope that helps

and yes, you have the wrong plugins, the new ones won't suport homing for some reasion, if you have the original plugins go to projectile.
