HELP! ZOOM 8x on pistol or rocket launcher

I've searched, but I cannot find how to create an extra zoom for the pistol or the rocket launcher.
im using mac version of hmt

In HMT, the [weap] tag should have an option for the zoom levels. If you find it the boxes, they should be filled like 1 2 2. Change each of those boxes to 2 2 8. This tell halo that there are 2 zoom levels, 2x and 8x.

if you go in to some one elses sever the zoom will still work thats how i get 43 kills 4 deaths with my cheater mod

yeah HMT is not gonna do the job for you. It might be possible with Eschaton, but I haven't tried. It works on the same principles as what they're telling you to do with HMT, but there might be some issue about referencing the zoom hud.
