Modeling Help

I want to know how to insert a model of a modified object from halo pc. I removed some of the object saved it as a Wavefront OBJ and tryed inserting with HMT and I get an error about my model breaking into X number of pieces.

are you using wings3d? If you are well wings3d-edited models do not inject into halo. Get milkshape or gmax
