Help me plz(i am a noob)

ok everytime i make a multi purpose.........i inject it and it make his visor and clothes the color of my team and it is so stupid i really need help on what to do....????!!!!!!!! 
i searched for links and tutorials on how to do it but none told me anything the only thing about my problem i saw where : how do u mkae multipurposes etc.......... i a begginer at skinning plz tell me or give link thankyou <_< (> '.' >) ( . Y . )
