Ok, I rember reading a tutorial on HMT skins, and it said that if you see a message saying "the texture you are trying to import is larger then the existing data" to click OK.

Now, when I try to apply this one R warthog skin I have this comes up, and when I click OK it replaces the rwarthog multipurpose and corrupts other skins I havn't even tried editing.

If I click the resize thing my skin looks all fuxed and weird.

Its a skin I got off the forums here, its called R warthog GTX


WHY IS IT DOING THIS!?!?

Save the multipurpose and inject it after you inject your warthog skin.

na, thats not it, u no the thing it says where it could possible corrupt all other skins, its cause when u inject the bitmap, it saves over the hex code, and if its larger then its supposed to be, it over writes the next bytes in the file, thing is, each file is seperated by 4 or 8 bytes, so u have lee way, im geussing that that skin to big to work, so here is a way around that, in hmt, have the r warthog bitmap selected, hit the eof button, then update, that will change where it looks for the bitmap to the very last byte of bitmaps.map, then update will save its offset, then import like normal, hit ok to the larger thing, all it will do now is add bytes to the bitmaps.map, then ur good, but now u have to go threw all ur maps and repoint the offsets, just copy the offset from the map u started in, and paste it and update it in all other maps
