how do u make the plasma grenade track like a needler?

I think that you should:
a.)Open up HMT.
b.)Find the projectile of the needler and copy down the tracking or w/e it's called.
c.)Paste that in the proj/plasmagrenade/explosion and delete everything from shockwave so that your screen doesn't shake(I do that).
d.)There you go!Tell me if it works!

useing the original hmt plugins (not phenomenas) goto the projectile grenade then make the weight 0 and change the number that says traking or somelthing like that (currently i cant acses HMT not my fault!) and change it too 3 or 6 or whatever.
if it dont work then to bad.

although you could essentially make the needer shoot needles that blew up like plasma grenades just a suggestion.

fire up HMT or HHT (i would use HHT for this) and navigate to your plasma grenade projectile. tunr gravity to 0 and give homing a value between 3 and 5 (any more is useless and too much more makes wierd things happen)

you may also need to set a minimum and maximum speed for homing to work correctly.

You can't do it in HHT and it wont home when you throw it, its gotta be fired. Correct me if I'm wrong.

you are worng about HHT, the newest version (or at least my copy) has a tag editor in adition to the meta swappers.

and it has been a while (years) but i do recall makeing grenades track targets. if ou dont believe me try it yourself, or swap the nade .proj for the needle so you throw a needle and watch.

What version of HHT do you have? I have version 5 and theirs no tag editor.

well, it wont run on my laptop for some reason, but i recall a button that toggled the right-hand box between the meta swapper and tag editor.

HHT 5 has a tag editor, all you do is click the arrow in the top right corner next to Dependency Swapper.
