How to "flatten" a map? or have a big flat open ma

I'm trying to record some stuff for movie useage, using Halo PC (not Custom Edition). What I want to do is flatten a map i.e. make the floor flat and not bumpy. Is this possible, if so how?

If not, is there a big open/flat map with all the vehicles I can use with Halo PC somehow? Preferably blue/greenscreen i.e. without ground/sky/wall textures and nothing but the vehicles and maybe some friendly grunts. How would I get that loaded up into the game?

It seems I need Halo Custom Edition for the bluescreen map I found. That should do for starters
