Is this even possible at this point?

Hey all, not sure if this is really the right forum to post this, but "general" sounds about as good as anything, since I'm not quite sure what this question would fit under...
With all the advanced modeling/meta swapping that some of the advanced modders are doing right now, is it even possible to make a multiplayer mod where you can trigger Marines' mouths to move? I ask because I'm throwing around the idea of a Halo movie, but in order for it to work it would require some extreme modding, and a large part of it would rely on the Marines talking to each other (I could always just leave their faces immobile or skin masks over their mouths and call them special forces or soemthing, but that would just be lame

).
Anyway, does anyone know if this can be done? Or is it some crazy trigger-based thing that can only be replicated by m4d hax0rz? I don't think it is because in SP the Marines talk to each other in the middle of a fight and their mouths move, but hey, it's not like I know. I'm the one asking the question, after all...

God, if you want their mouths to move, just take one picture with an open mouth, then another with a closed mouth, and alternate. Dont waste ur time with some complicated mod.
FYI: There are thousands of these movies out. I wouldnt waste my time.

If I was going to make a flash movie, then your suggestion might be applicable. But unfortunately, I'm looking for anyone who might know how this would be done, no matter how complicated it might be.
And by the way, it's my time. I'll waste it if I feel like it. I assume if you're here you have some interest in Halo modding; there are already thousands of mods, why don't
you stop wasting your time here and never open your mod toolbox again?

wait a lil bit till hmt 3.5.
Then when u inject him with ai and such, give him a marine dialog.
Then just shoot him and watch him yell his head off.

hrmm... perhaps. more likely that this is possible, just hidden really well. as in we wont be able to do it for a while.

So it'll probably be able to come with HMT 3.5...
lol, go figure. God is waiting for 3.5 to come out so he can start using it to fix the world's problems ;]
P.S. Please don't reply to the whole "world problem" part of this. I really just want to answer my question, not start an argument over global relations; does anyone else have any ideas how I might be able to get the Marines to talk using tools currently available?
