Ok...I'm so mad at my computer right now. I have no idea what the hell the problem is. I try to play halo pc and trial live with my friend, but my CONNECTION ALWAYS DIES! It's not my internet connection either, because it's fine. Everytime i play online i lag and eventually lose my connection. There's always that box with the red X in the bottom right corner of my screen. I've been so mad about it. There has to be something I can do. Is it my local connection? I know a few other kids who have local, but they never lose connection. I dont understand at all! Like i said, my internet connection is excellent. I've tried setting the halo priority to high, but that didnt work, I tried lowering the graphics, but that didnt work, and I've tried not moving, but that didnt work. I somehow always lose my freakin' connection!
There has to be a way where I won't. I desperately need to know what I can do. Is there anyone out there in this forum that can help me? There must be a way!

I do have a wireless router and limewire, but I never run limewire when playing Halo. I'm with COX internet service. Based on that, do you see the problem?

I have a laptop, but would it make any difference? Also, is there no way I could host a game due to my local connection, or can I fix that?

Well If someone else is using the laptop and downloading stuff that might cause you to lag out.
