Halo Trial Mod

Someone please tell me how to get my Blood Gulch edited map to work in Halo Trial. Even if it is only a slight change, I am unable to create a game.

All I want is to make a game with all snipers and no banshees, so if someone wanted to make/link me to a mod that does this and tell me how tog et it to work on Halo Trial I would be very happy!

getting full to trial is kinda complicated. you need to find the differences in hex and change them.

Maybe you could just do the edit in Sparkedit for the trial? Snipers and equipment can be duplicated and teles can be made if you get the Sparkify and Unsparkify patches. The banshees can be deleted.

As for making people spawn with snipers, you'd have to do a gametype. I saw the people at some other site do it, unfortunatly I think the admin is having a war with people from this site last I heard. Anyway, try making a gametype on full and moving it into your trial folder where the gametypes go.

Ok, well they dont have to spawn with snipers, I just want to change all the weapon spawns to snipers, and get rid of the vehicles. So where do I find these patches, and how do I use them?

No problem, Kyle. Erm, the patches can be found somewhere, I currently don't have them. Look around on modhalotrial.com (thats the site of the Halo Modding God :D).

About the sniper gametypes, you should get this for all snipers:

Don't forget to read the entire topic, theres some trouble shooting help down there.
Or, if you just want people to spawn with regular stuff and have sniper ammo over the map, sparkify bloodgulch, open it with sparkedit, duplicate ammo, drag to place needed, save, close, and unsparkify.

Alright, I got it working!

These games are fun!

I changed all weopons to snipers, made it so u can carry unlimited sniper ammo, and disabled banshees! It works like a charm!

I tried to put in a teleporter, but my attempts were futile...

Hm, teles don't work for you? Tools>Insert Teleporter pair. LOOK CLOSELY AT THE 2 BOXES. ONE WILL HAVE AN ARROW POINTING AT THE OTHER. This is the portal opening. Click the opening and place it somewhere. Then click the other box and put it at your destination. Oh yea, edit mode has to be on mp flags i think.

trial modders found a way to do this without game types sense we can't use them(me). go into hmt, find item collection. and switch those with the sniper in that section. your done remem to click save for ea 1 you switch it with and doing this make it ccs or css watever.
