plz forgive me if this has been either a) solved or b) already discussed to its limit...my browser is messing up and i cant use the search funtion or any other for that matter...it just wont load it for some weird reason... anyways. A while back there was discussion on how or if it is at all even possible, to either replace one of the red or blue skins with a covenant model or just have the mc replaced so we can play aliens vs humans...was this at all solved? im sure with our current advances someone can figure it out and id be more than willing to help with my limited knowledge.

No one knows what changes the colors of MC yet and unless someone out there is doing some heavy ass coding this ain't gonna be possible.
There is only one way to eliminate the color which is by making the mc black since the black blots out the other color. There is on eother way which is by switching bipeds with the normal mc which is automatically always green.

The shaders(I think) Give the Spartans the color, there is no way to give the shader a MODEL of a Covenant...

That was my guess too, I'm still keeping an eye out for ways to kill tthe color but I don't know hex and I won't know C or C++ til summer classes.

believe me, you wouldn't be able to anyway... but anyway, you would have to decompile it first, and bungie would've made sure that it'd be hard...

ok, yeah, i was really messed up, shaders do control color at least i think, and we do need a way to change the shader with perhaps an elite shader, it would look shitty but it might get across the basic idea...or we could just wait for HEK

No person has yet to make the MC a different color???? God, it like the common-cold of mods. The Pelican, the Library, and AOTCR can be in MP, but the MC himself cannot yet be pink...........

I've made him pink... it can be done in like 2.4 seconds.

Swapping elite shader would just make it apply the elite bitmaps to mc in the wrong way... So MC would look disgruntled and blueish.
